Private company
Who owns Huatai Insurance Group Co. Ltd
One company in the researched set discloses a stake in Huatai Insurance Group Co. Ltd, none of it sized by anyone who discloses it. Huatai Insurance Group Co. Ltd is private, so no 13F reports it: a 13F covers exchange listed positions only. These figures exist because each holder disclosed the stake in its own filings.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Chubb Limited. Huatai is a Chinese financial services holding company with separate P&C (Huatai P&C), life (Huatai Life) and asset management subsidiaries. Chubb obtained a controlling majority interest on 1 Jul 2023 (increasing from 64.2 percent to 69.6 percent) and discontinued equity method accounting in favour of full consolidation at that date, remeasuring the prior 64.2 percent equity method stake to a fair value of 4.1 billion USD as of 1 Jul 2023 (a one time realised gain of 763 million USD after tax). Chubb then acquired further incremental interests: approximately 7.0 percent in 2023, approximately 9.0 percent in 2024, reaching 87.2 percent at 31 Dec 2025. Because Huatai is now consolidated line by line rather than carried at a single fair value, no current value_usd is disclosed for the stake itself; the residual approximately 12.8 percent is reported by Chubb as noncontrolling interests on its consolidated balance sheet. Ownership interest varies slightly by subsidiary: Huatai Life was 89.5 percent, Huatai Asset Management Co. Ltd. was 79.2 percent and Huatai Baoxing Fund Management was 74.1 percent, all at 31 Dec 2025. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Huatai Insurance Group Co. Ltd where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
