Private company
Who owns Anthropic PBC
4 companies in the researched set disclose a stake in Anthropic PBC, worth $314.7bn between them. Anthropic PBC is private, so no 13F reports it: a 13F covers exchange listed positions only. These figures exist because each holder disclosed the stake in its own filings.
Also filed as Anthropic, PBC. Merged here because they are the same company.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Amazon.com, Inc., as of 30 Jun 2026. Value is the sum of the two carrying amounts Amazon discloses at 30 Jun 2026: nonvoting preferred stock of approximately $92.5bn plus convertible notes at estimated fair value of approximately $97.9bn. Amazon does not disclose share counts or an ownership percentage for Anthropic. source
- Alphabet Inc., as of 30 Jun 2026. No share count is filed anywhere. Two separately sourced inputs are combined. (1) Percentage: Alphabet has been reported at roughly 14% of Anthropic in straight equity with no voting rights, no board seat and no board observer, hard-capped at 15%. (2) Value: Alphabet's Q2 2026 10-Q reports the carrying value of non-marketable equity securities under the measurement alternative at $124,259 million as of 30 Jun 2026 and states in footnote 1 that these 'primarily consist of our investment in a private company'. The filing does not name that company. Press reporting attributes it to Anthropic. Treat $124.259bn as an upper bound on the Anthropic carrying value, not an exact one, because the line also contains other private holdings. A separate cross-check: 14% of the $350bn April 2026 valuation is about $49bn, so Alphabet's carrying value implies a materially higher mark than the April round price. sourcesource 2
- Microsoft. Microsoft's own announcement of 18 November 2025 says NVIDIA and Microsoft are committing to invest up to $10 billion and up to $5 billion respectively in Anthropic. That is a commitment ceiling, not a funded amount, and no share count, price per share or ownership percentage was published. Press coverage of the same announcement put Anthropic's valuation in the range of $350 billion, which would imply roughly 1.4 percent of Anthropic if the full $5 billion were funded at a $350 billion post-money mark, but neither the funded amount nor the pre-money versus post-money basis is disclosed, so pct_of_target is left null rather than modelled on two unverified inputs. source
- Micron Technology. Size deliberately left null. Micron and Anthropic both declined to disclose the amount, and the round is large enough ($65bn raised at $965bn post-money) that any modelled share of it would span more than an order of magnitude. No defensible input exists, so no estimate is offered. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Anthropic PBC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
