The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 1,908 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
1,908 managers reported a position, together holding 114.6m shares, or 90.9% of the company. The 40 largest are listed.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Parker-Hannifin's fiscal year ends 30 June. As of this research (17 August 2026), the FY2026 Form 10-K (period ended 30 June 2026) had not yet been filed: EDGAR's submissions feed for CIK 0000076334 shows no 10-K filed after the FY2025 10-K (period 2025-06-30, filed 2025-08-22). The most recent periodic filing with a share-count cover page is therefore the Q3 FY2026 Form 10-Q (period ended 31 March 2026, filed 1 May 2026), which reports 126,086,389 common shares outstanding at 31 March 2026; that figure is used as company.shares_outstanding and as the denominator for every 13F-based register row below.
- Parker-Hannifin does not file Form 13F. Its EDGAR filing history (submissions JSON, checked 17 August 2026) contains no 13F-HR or 13F-NT of any vintage under CIK 0000076334, and an EDGAR company search for 13F filings under 'Parker Hannifin' returns nothing. This is consistent with Parker not acting as an institutional investment manager on behalf of a pension trust or otherwise.
- Parker filed an 8-K on 6 August 2026 furnishing its Q4/full-year FY2026 earnings press release (quarter and year ended 30 June 2026). That release (exhibit991q4fy26.htm) discloses weighted average diluted shares of 128.1 million for fiscal 2026 but not a point-in-time shares-outstanding count, so it was not used for company.shares_outstanding.
- Market capitalization of 133.13 billion dollars is the figure published by stockanalysis.com as of 14 August 2026, implying a share price of about 1,055.85 dollars. Cross-check: 126,086,389 shares at that price implies roughly 133.1 billion dollars, consistent.
- Holdings: Parker's FY2025 10-K (period ended 30 June 2025) states combined equity-method investments of 280 million dollars at 30 June 2025 and 294 million dollars at 30 June 2024, covering 'investments in joint venture companies in which ownership is 50 percent or less' without naming or splitting them by JV. The Q3 FY2026 10-Q additionally discloses, inside its segment-assets footnote, that Aerospace Systems segment assets include a single such joint venture carried at 225 million dollars as of 31 March 2026 (226 million dollars at 30 June 2025) but does not name it. Implied by subtraction, roughly 54 million dollars of the FY2025 combined 280 million dollar balance sits outside Aerospace Systems (i.e. in Diversified Industrial), and that residual is not named or sized in any filing found.
- The only named joint venture found anywhere in Parker's public filings is Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC, a fuel-nozzle joint venture with GE Aviation, referenced solely as a past employer division in an executive's biography in the FY2025 10-K/proxy materials. Its 50-50 ownership split with GE Aviation comes from the venture's 14 November 2012 formation announcement (Parker Aerospace and GE Aviation press releases), not from a current Parker SEC filing. Given AAT is the only Aerospace Systems JV named anywhere and its LinkedIn page shows activity into 2026, the unnamed 225 million dollar Aerospace Systems JV carrying value in the Q3 FY2026 10-K most likely corresponds to Parker's AAT stake, but this research could not find a filing that makes that link explicitly, so the carrying value was not attached to the AAT holding row's value_usd field.
- Searched the FY2025 10-K and the Q3 FY2026 10-Q in full for 'equity method', 'unconsolidated', 'non-marketable', 'measurement alternative', 'joint venture', and 'affiliate'. No investments in publicly traded companies, minority stakes in private technology or industrial companies outside the JV structure described above, or non-marketable equity securities were found. Parker's growth model is dominated by wholly owned acquisitions (for example the pending/completed Curtis acquisition referenced in the Q3 FY2026 10-Q, and historically Meggitt and CLARCOR), which are excluded from holdings as wholly owned operating subsidiaries per the brief.
- Register: the curated top-8 institutional register (Vanguard, BlackRock, State Street, FMR, Bank of America, Geode, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan) is built from each manager's own Form 13F-HR filed under its own CIK, not from Parker's DEF 14A. Vanguard's most recent 13F-HR available is for the quarter ended 31 December 2025 (accession 0000102909-26-000031): Vanguard filed Form 13F-NT (notice, no holdings table) for both the quarter ended 31 March 2026 and the quarter ended 30 June 2026 under CIK 0000102909, so no more recent Vanguard share count is available from that CIK. All other seven institutional rows are from 13F-HR filings for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
- The 30 June 2026 13F filings imply a consistent per-share mark of about 978 dollars across BlackRock, State Street, FMR, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan (each manager's reported market value divided by its reported share count lands within about 1.5 percent of 978.1 dollars), which is a useful internal cross-check that these are the same CUSIP (701094104, PARKER-HANNIFIN CORP common) reported consistently. Vanguard's 31 December 2025 filing implies about 879 dollars per share, consistent with the stock being lower five months earlier.
- 13F filers abbreviate the issuer name inconsistently: Vanguard, State Street, FMR, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley use 'PARKER-HANNIFIN CORP' (with hyphen); Geode and JPMorgan use 'PARKER HANNIFIN CORP' / 'PARKER HANNIFIN CORP [COMMON]' (no hyphen). All rows above were confirmed against CUSIP 701094104 to avoid conflating with the unrelated issuer Warby Parker Inc, which also matches a bare 'PARKER' search.
- Insider rows use Parker's 2025 DEF 14A (filed 19 September 2025, covering the annual meeting held 22 October 2025), whose beneficial ownership table is dated 31 July 2025 and whose only explicitly stated share count is 126,544,072 shares outstanding and entitled to vote at the 5 September 2025 record date. That figure, not the 13F-based 126,086,389 used elsewhere in this file, is the denominator for every insider row: it reproduces the proxy's own stated percentages for Vanguard (8.26%), State Street (7.74%) and BlackRock (6.74%, all three superseded above by fresher 13F data) closely enough to confirm it is the right denominator, and it reproduces the stated 0.32 percent for the 25-person officer/director group exactly (411,009 / 126,544,072 = 0.325%, rounds to 0.32%).
- Parker has a single class of common stock, 0.50 dollar par value, one vote per share. There is no dual-class structure and no founder-control block; the proxy states no individual director or executive officer beneficially owned more than 1 percent of common shares as of 31 July 2025.
- No em dashes used; all figures are in whole current USD as filed, dates in ISO-8601.
Looked for, not found
Recorded rather than filled in. Each of these is a place where a number could have been invented and was not.
- Whether the unnamed 225 million dollar (31 March 2026) / 226 million dollar (30 June 2025) Aerospace Systems equity-method joint venture disclosed in Parker's 10-Q and 10-K is in fact Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC. No Parker filing names the JV; the identification here is inferential (AAT is the only aerospace JV referenced anywhere in Parker's filings and press materials). A confirming source naming AAT alongside a dollar figure or current ownership percentage was not found within the time budget.
- The composition and identity of the roughly 54 million dollar residual within the FY2025 10-K's combined 280 million dollar equity-method balance that sits outside the Aerospace Systems segment (implied Diversified Industrial segment joint venture interests). No specific JV names or percentages were found for this residual in the 10-K, the 10-Q, or a targeted web search.
- Parker's FY2026 10-K (period ended 30 June 2026) was not yet filed as of 17 August 2026 per the EDGAR submissions feed for CIK 0000076334; any FY2026 update to the equity-method investment balance or JV disclosures is not yet visible.
- Whether any Schedule 13D or 13G has been filed on Parker-Hannifin common stock since Vanguard's (13 Feb 2024), State Street's (4 Feb 2025) and BlackRock's (26 Jan 2024) filings cited in the 2025 proxy. A full EDGAR filing-index check for 13D/13G on CIK 0000076334 was not performed within the time budget; the register instead relies on each institution's own fresher Form 13F-HR.
- Precise current ownership percentage of Advanced Atomization Technologies, LLC. The only sourced figure (50 percent, 50-50 with GE Aviation) dates to the joint venture's November 2012 formation; no later filing or press source reconfirming that split as of 2026 was found, though the venture's LinkedIn page shows it remains operationally active.
- T. Rowe Price, Capital Research/Capital World Investors, Northern Trust, Invesco and Wellington were named as likely top-12 Parker-Hannifin holders by an aggregator (stockanalysis-style search results, not itself a filing) but were not individually verified against their own Form 13F-HR within the time budget; the register here stops at 8 institutional rows plus the insider layer rather than include unverified names.
